One of the two cover stars for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, the Lamborghini Reventón is arguably the Italian performance factory’s greatest achievement in both design and performance. Available in any color you want, as long as that color is slate grey, Reventon is easily the most aggressive-looking Lambo to hit the streets since the days of the Miura.
Modeled after the greatest Italian fighter jets, Lamborghini actually staged a mock race between the Reventón and a Panavia Tornado fighter plane to prove their point. With only 20 ever built – and one additional model for the Lamborghini museum – getting your hands on a Reventón is pretty tough, unless you’re as lucky as you are wealthy.
With 641 horsepower resting comfortably in the rear, the Reventón is never hurting for a bit of extra power. Its 8,500 RPM redline is impressive – almost as impressive as the maximum torque for this car, being reached at 8,000.
You’re going to have a tough time affording one in real life, but if you pop in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, you’ll find that it’s much more fun to bust racers or evade the cops with a Reventón than sitting in your bedroom drooling over car magazines.
